What the private overlay does
Notemotion uses supported Windows display-affinity controls so its overlay is omitted from common screen-sharing and recording capture paths. You continue to see the assistant while the shared view stays focused on the app or screen you selected.
Test the setup you use
Capture behavior can differ between meeting and recording applications. Before relying on the overlay, start a test call, share the screen you normally use, and confirm the result from another participant’s view.
Keep expectations clear
The overlay is a privacy control, not a way to bypass monitoring software. It cannot guarantee exclusion from every recorder, camera, or operating-system capture method.
